For those interested in trying out Ansible, they can use this demo environment which uses Docker Compose and Ansible to run playbooks in an isolated environment. If to setup your environment, please install Docker.

Usage Instructions

Windows

Try to use WSL when you are trying to use Ansible To download WSL follow the guide shown in the link WSL Download.

Confirm in Docker Desktop that you have WSL integration enabled

On Docker Destop, click Settings -> Resources -> WSL integration -> Enable integration with my default WSL distro

In WSL, run docker build -t debian-ansible . --no-cache

Then start the demo with ./start-ansible.sh 4

Linux

Run docker build -t debian-ansible . --no-cache

Then start the demo with ./start-ansible.sh 4

If you completed everything above, test ansible by running ./init.sh
